Can Something Lost Be Something Gained? Berger Park Coach House Theater March 2015 A full-length dramatic comedy with a light touch and a depth of feeling. See a film of this production here: https://youtu.be/MRvq4WugR-o Robert Lichtenbert on his Meaning in Art website calls this play: "witty, amusing, and entertaining" He says: "This play's theme of the human need for connections and love despite all life's trials...is presented in a very smart script by Mike Brayndick." "All of the technical elements of this play--the set of autumnal colored skyscrapers, the mellow sound effects, the moody lighting and the fine cast of promising actors--are superior to most of what professional theaters with their sky-high ticket prices are doing now." |
Lost and Found unfolds three parallel stories that all begin at the Lilly Pond in Lincoln Park and take us to several households in the Chicago area. Meet a stamp obsessed, customer service agent and his frustrated murder mystery reading librarian wife; a veterinarian who unexpectedly becomes rooted in the life of a finicky tree doctor; two young professionals whose decision to get married hangs in the balance as they search for a mysterious woman of mythic proportions; and a North Shore couple who do their best to do good while making sure their marriage never loses its spice and romance. Let this contemporary glimpse at life and love enrich your spirit and enliven your heart this winter season.
