Murmuration
Dancing On The Spot (DOTS) presented: Murmuration. A devised movement and text piece about how we navigate through the world as distinct individuals but also make meaningful connections with other people. In short, how we each maintain our unique identity while also being part of a community. DOTS is a new dance theatre ensemble, that has blossomed recently out of the On The Spot Theatre Company development workshops. Led by Emma Brayndick, the group is exploring the territory of dance improv and contact improvisation in relation to group-generated text. Murmuration is the first devised performance piece to be staged by Dancing On The Spot.
